The Dukes Head is situated on the edge of Romsey on the main road to Stockbridge and is a friendly local pub serving wonderful fresh food, real ales and a great selection of wines.  The pub is full of character and been a favourite meeting place for locals for a very long time.

The Dukes Head is now under new ownership and the new team work hard at providing a relaxed atmosphere and great hospitality.  The bar is a central feature of the pub with comfortable seating and an open log fire which provides a great welcome during the winter months.

The restaurant is in a series of smaller themed rooms surrounding the bar such as the ‘hunting room’ which is full of mounted prints of French hunting scenes and the ‘fish room’ where the name speaks for it’s self!

The new owner, Jamie Hiscock, is also the head chef and brings a wealth of experience from his background of travelling and working in Australia, France, Spain and Portugal.  Since returning to the UK he has been working in pubs and hotels around the Lyndhurst and New Forest areas and the Dukes Head is his first pub venture.

Jamie has great plans for The Dukes Head and is determined to build it to become one of the top pubs in Hampshire.
